A Conversation with President Barack Obama

Thursday, April 3, at 7 p.m.

Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United States, will be the next guest in Hamilton鈥檚 Sacerdote Great Names Series. Due to an overwhelming Hamilton community response to President Obama鈥檚 appearance in the Great Names series, no tickets will be available for the general public.

Important Event Information for Ticket Holders

Free parking and shuttles will be available in the Village of Clinton at the lots listed below. Shuttles to the event will begin at 4 p.m. and will run after the program until all guests have been returned to their vehicles. Parking on campus will be limited, and no shuttle service will be available to on-campus lots. Employees with tickets are encouraged to remain on campus, carpool, or take a shuttle from the Village. There will be very limited parking on campus.

Lot #1 - Skenandoa Golf Club, 7105 Norton Ave.
Lot #2 - Clinton Pool Lot, 29 Norton Ave.
Lot #3 - Clinton Arena, 36 Kirkland Ave.
Lot #4 - Clinton Elementary School Lot, corner of Chenango and Kirkland Aves. (shuttle pick up with be at the bus loop by the high school; follow the shuttle signs)
Lot #5 - Clinton HS Theater Lot, corner of Chenango Ave. and College Street (shuttle pick up with be at the bus loop by the high school; follow the shuttle signs)
Lot #6 - Clinton High School Elm Street Lot, 34 Elm Street 
Lot #7 - Kirkland Life Church, 44 Kirkland Ave.

If you are taking a shuttle following the event, we ask for your patience. Moving over 5000 people will take some time, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Tickets for this event are sold out. You must have your ticket to gain admission to the event. You may either present the Eventbrite QR code (no screenshots), or a printed copy of the ticket. Each ticket may only be scanned once. Be sure you have the appropriate number of QR codes or printed tickets for each member of your party before your arrival. 

Doors will open at 4 p.m. Please plan to arrive early to secure your seat. Seating is general admission.

Unable to Attend? If your plans have changed or the updated details affect your ability to attend, please cancel your ticket to make it available for someone else by following the prompts in Eventbrite for canceling your ticket, or email collegeevents@hamilton.edu as soon as possible.

If you plan to use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft, or will be dropped off for the event, the drop off and pick up location will be North Lot on Campus Rd. Individual vehicles will not be permitted to turn onto Loop Road unless they have been approved for Special Assistance parking.

No audio or video recording, or photography will be permitted.

Small purses/bags, with or without a handle, that do not exceed 8.5" x 5.5" (roughly the size of a folded piece of letter paper) will be allowed. All bags are subject to search. (Bag size does not include the strap or handle). No large purses or backpacks will be permitted.

No metal water bottles will be permitted.

Ticketed guests needing special assistance seating or parking should complete  or call 315-859-4529. We ask that guests with special assistance parking wait approximately 10 minutes before departing the Field House. This will allow time for the first set of shuttles to clear the loading area for your departure.
