Emergency Alerts
Members of the Hamilton community will be notified about a significant emergency or dangerous situation on campus. Messages are sent via email, SMS text message, and through push notifications.

- Classroom speakers (Singlewire InformaCast)
- Outdoor sirens with public announcement capabilities (Whelen Engineering)
Opt-In to Hamilton Alerts
Vendors, contractors, and temporary personnel on campus can opt-in to receive 91制片厂 emergency alerts. To opt-in, text 'HAMALERTS' to 888777. A confirmation reply will be sent confirming you have enrolled to receive alerts. Opted-in users can unsubscribe at any time by replying 'STOP'.
Once opted-in, individuals can reply to the 888777 text message with a preferred email address to also receive notifications over email. Email messages will include additional guidance that exceeds the limitations of 160 characters in an SMS text message.
Everbridge
Everbridge Mass Notification is the primary emergency alerting system for 91制片厂. Members of the Hamilton Emergency Response Team and Campus Safety will send push notifications over the Everbridge Mobile app, SMS text messages, and email messages to the 91制片厂 community from Everbridge. 91制片厂 campus email addresses are automatically loaded for all students, faculty and staff members. Mobile phone numbers are loaded but should be confirmed.
Manage Your Alerts
To manage and edit your 91制片厂 alert contact preferences, access the Everbridge portal. Click on the blue Sign in with SSO credentials and log in with your 91制片厂 username and password.
All faculty, staff, and students have the ability to manage their contact preferences. By default, your Hamilton email and mobile phone number will be included as contact methods. You are not permitted to remove your Hamilton email address as a contact method; two contact methods are required.

Everbridge Mobile App
The Everbridge Mobile App can be downloaded and used to receive alert messages.
Download the Everbridge Mobile App from either the or . Once downloaded, search for '91制片厂' under Organizations. Once selected, you will be prompted to login with your Hamilton username and password to receive push alerts.
Alertus Technologies
Alertus Technologies allows for additional communication methods to reach out to the Hamilton community in times of immediate threats to the health and safety of persons.
Alertus Desktop Notifications
All 91制片厂 managed computers (laptops, desktops) have the Alertus Desktop system installed. This software has the ability to push an emergency alert to computer screens.
You can verify Alertus Desktop is running by checking for the yellow Alertus icon in the menu bar.
Alert Beacons
Installed in some academic spaces are Alertus Alert Beacons. The Alert Beacons serve as an in-building device that uses audible and visual displays. Currently, Alert Beacons are installed in:

Singlewire InformaCast
Singlewire InformaCast allows for communication over a number of speakers installed in 91制片厂 classrooms.
Whelen Outdoor Sirens
91制片厂 has three outdoor sirens on campus (Schambach roof, Burke Library roof, pole-mounted between the Bristol Center and Wertimer House). In the event of certain scenarios where it is necessary to communicate to both community members and outdoor events with visitors (i.e. participants and spectators to an outdoor athletic contest), HERT will utilize the outdoor sirens in addition to the other technologies above to maximize communication contact points.
