Broken but Beautiful: Materials and Meaning from the Palatine Hill in Rome The Palatine Hill was prime real estate at the heart of Rome and site of some of the most sacred buildings, yet when we look at the archaeological map, the northeast corner of the hill has remained, until recently, unknown. In this talk, Martinez will discuss finds from the Palatine East Excavations, the first systematic field project in that area.
