The fundamental boxing class will teach foundational techniques such as punching technique, proper footwork, and body movement while boosting your general fitness. Participants will engage in station drills, shadowboxing, calisthenics, and partner work to build strength, coordination, and confidence. This is a non-contact class; no sparring (striking of others) is permitted or included.聽Participants are advised to bring their own boxing gloves (10 ounce minimum). A limited quantity will be available for participants without their own.

A Conversation with President Barack Obama Barack Obama, the 44th president of the United聽States, will be the next guest in Hamilton鈥檚 Sacerdote Great Names Series. He was elected on November 4, 2008, winning more votes than any candidate in history. President Obama was inaugurated on January 20, 2009, reelected in聽2012, and served until January 20, 2017. He was the first African American to hold the office, bringing a message of hope and change to his campaigns. Tickets to this event are sold out.

This two-day hybrid workshop brings together scholars from around the globe to discuss modern receptions of the ancient Medea myth through the lens of Intersectionality. Medea was a woman in a patriarchal society, an exile and non-citizen, in some traditions racialized as Other, a priestess with deep connections to nature, and a mother who committed filicide in many versions of the myth.
