Lucas Mangold, a rising senior from Greenwich, Conn., is spending the first weeks of summer break getting an early start on his thesis research. A geosciences major, he is analyzing local microspherules under the guidance of Professor of Geosciences Dave Bailey.

Myranda 鈥淩andy鈥� Tristant 鈥�22 knows the world can be 鈥渦ncomfortable鈥� and 鈥渄irty,鈥� but she also knows that it can be a place to heal and reflect, which is exactly what her writing and art aim to do.

Leo Ross 鈥�21 plans to spend his summer kicking back, playing some David Bowie, and thinking about fascism.

Noelani Stevenson 鈥�19 starts training for her new job in July. Exercises will include physical training, accent training, and combat training. By August, she will have improved her sword fighting, cockney accent, and fortunetelling abilities, preparing her for her job鈥檚 main event.

The lights go up. A timer goes off. Someone laughs. A dark, obscured figure walks behind the stage. A voice speaks from above, and the audience looks up, searching for a speaker in the dim lighting. There鈥檚 a collective silence as everyone holds their breath, waiting for the verdict. The lights go down. The crowd claps.
