| Course Description: | Intensive study and analysis of cultural concepts and selected literary works of Spain. Introduction to basic critical skills for literary and cultural analysis as applied to texts studied. Emphasis on oral performance, student participation and on original application of critical methodology in writing projects. The course includes a required one-day (Saturday) trip to New York City to see a Spanish performance. |
