Course Description: | This course covers topics related to political decision making and its implications for economic development as well as economic and policy outcomes today. We cover theoretical and empirical approaches to collective decision-making, institutions and the state, technological change, property rights, issues in democracies, issues in non-democracies. Students will learn to use theory to understand political issues and examine research articles critically. |
