| Course Description: | A broad overview of statistical analyses and data visualization types commonly used in biology. Topics include the descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, common parametric and non-parametric tests, statistical modeling, and other relevant techniques commonly across the biological sciences. Emphasis is on 鈥渉ands-on鈥� practice with biological datasets, including selecting appropriate tests and methods, evaluating test assumptions, and visualization of results. |
