| Course Description: | This course examines the relationship between one鈥檚 own body, a collective body, and unconventional materials. The focus is on material exploration in relation to the individual and group. Techniques include: sewing, mono printing, felting, patterning, papier mache, and group installation. We will explore installation and site specificity that slips between 2 and 3 dimensions. We will make wearable art, multiples, and the culminating event will be a group installation and exploration of commerce around art making. |
